Early life

Na dem born Konaté insyd February 1st, 1953 insyd de northern town of Diré insyd Mali. He study den graduate for de Institut National des Arts de Bamako[2] between de times of 1972 to 1976 plus a degree insyd painting.[3] He then move go Havana, Cuba from 1978 - 1985 make he further ein art education for de Superior de Arte, Havana, Cuba (Higher Institute of Plastic Arts).[2] During ein time insyd Cuba he discover multidisciplinary art. Dis lef a long impression for ein top. Konaté use acrylic make he paint a multitude of work. Insyd de 1990's Konaté switch from traditional painting to tapestry.[3] Dem show ein tapestries insyd galleries all over de world today.

Career

Konaté work as a graphic designer for de Musee National insyd Bamako. Insyd 1998, na dem appoint to be de Director of de Palais de la Culture.[4] He now dey work as de principal of de Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers Multimédia Balla Fasseké Kouyaté insyd Bamako, Mali.[1]

He den ein work received chaw awards, wey dey include insyd 2002 de Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mali den Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres de France.[5]
