Al-Sudais cam from de Anazzah clan, wey he memorize de Quran by de age of 12.[1] Growing up insyd Riyadh, al-Sudais study at de Al Muthana Bin Harith Elementary School, den afterwards de Riyadh Scientific Institution from wich he graduate insyd 1979 plus a grade of excellent.[1] He obtain a degree insyd Sharia from Riyadh University insyd 1983, ein Master's insyd Islamic fundamentals from de Sharia College of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University insyd 1987 wey he receive ein Ph.D. insyd Islamic Sharia from Umm al-Qura University insyd 1995 while he dey work der as an assistant professor after he serve at Riyadh University.[1]

Sudais take up ein imamate insyd 1984, at just 22-years of age, wey he conduct ein first sermon at Masjid al-Haram insyd July 1984, oda dan dis Sheikh Saud al-Shuraim - be ein partner insyd Taraweeh Prayers from 1994 till 2006, den again insyd 2014, 2019 den 2020. Dem be titled "Twins of de Haram".[13] Insyd 2005-2020, Sheikh Abdullah Awad al-Juhany den oda imams of Masjid al-Haram such as Sheikh Yasser al-Dosari den Sheikh Bander Baleela take over al-Shuraim ein position as imam of de first Rakat of de Khatm al-Quran (End of de Quran) Taraweeh prayer.
