Abraham Ossei Aidooh be a Ghanaian politician from de New Patriotic Party. As of 2008, he be de Majority Leader insyd de Parliament of Ghana; previously, na he be Deputy Majority Leader. He sana be a member of de Pan-African Parliament. He sana be rapporteur of de Committee on Rules, Privileges den Discipline, one of de ten permanent committees of de Pan-African Parliament.

[edit | edit source]Na Aidooh be a member of de 4th parliament of de 4th Republic den take seat during de 1996 Ghanaian general election for de New Patriotic Party. Na he be a member of de 2nd Parliament, 3rd parliament den 4th parliament of de 4th republic for Tema west Constituency.[2]

Aidooh be elected as de member of parliament for de Tema West Constituency insyd de Greater Accra Region of Ghana as a member of de Second Parliament of de Fourth Republic of Ghana during de 1996 Ghanaian general elections. He be elected on de ticket of de New Patriotic Party plus a total vote cast of 22,521 representing 46.50% of votes cast over ein opponents Esther IIan-Agbodo Ogbogu of de National Democratic Congress who dey get 15,511 of votes which represents 32.00% of de total votes casts den George Alfred Ackah of de Convention People's Party who dey get no votes cast.[3]
2004 Elections
[edit | edit source]Aidooh be elected as de member of parliament for de Tema West constituency insyd de 4th parliament of de 4th republic of Ghana insyd de 2004 Ghanaian general elections.[4] He be elected plus 37,975votes out of 71,009 total valid votes cast. Dis be equivalent to 53.5% of de total valid votes cast. He be elected over George Komla Medie of de National Democratic Congress, Godfried Allan Lomotey of de Convention People's Party, Kojo Amoako of de Every Ghanaian Living Everywhere Party; den Kenneth Nana Amoateng, Ayele A.J. Avon den Justice Awortwe Edwards - all independent candidates.[5] Aidooh be elected on de ticket of de New Patriotic Party. Ein constituency be a part of de 17 constituencies dey win by de New Patriotic Party insyd de Greater Accra region insyd dat elections. Insyd all, de New Patriotic Party dey win a total 128 parliamentary seats insyd de 4th parliament of the 4th republic of Ghana.[6]
