Adil al-Kalbani (Arabic: عادل الكلباني) be a Saudi Arabian Muslim cleric wey serve as an Imam of de Great Mosque of Mecca.[1][2][3]

Secof ein family dema financial situation, al-Kalbani take a job plus Saudi Arabian Airlines after he fini high school, whilst he dey attend evening classes at King Saud University.
Na Al-Kalbani ein first teacher insyd ein further Islamic studies be Hasan ibn Gaanim al-Gaanim.[4] He study Sahih al-Bukhari, Jami` at-Tirmidhi den de tafsir of Ibn Kathir plus am. He sanso study plus Mustafa Muslim wey teach de tafsir of al-Baydawi at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. He sanso study Akhir Tadmariyah plus Abdullah Ibn Jibreen den de Quran plus Ahmad Mustafa. Insyd 1994, he pass de government exam to cam be an Imam.[1]
Career as Imam
[edit | edit source]After a brief stint working at de mosque insyd Riyadh Airport, he move on to working as an Imam at de more prominent King Khalid Mosque.[1] He once dream say na that cam be de imam at de Great Mosque of Mecca; two years later, insyd 2008, na he be selected by King Abdullah to lead de tarawih prayers at de mosque.
