Agyare Koi Larbi (born 26 December 1949) be a Ghanaian politician den a member of de 2nd den 3rd parliament of de 4th republic of Ghana.[1] Na he be a former member of Parliament for de then-Akropong constituency now known as de Akuapem North Constituency of de eastern region of Ghana.[2] Larbi sana be a former member of de parliamentary committee on education.[3] He die insyd Accra on 10 November 2008.

Political career

Na Larbi be one of de founders of de New Patriotic Party. He serve two terms insyd Parliament as a representative of de then-Akropong Constituency wey now be de Akuapem North constituency on de ticket of de New Patriotic Party from 1997 to 2004. Ein term insyd Parliament begin when he contest insyd de 1996 general elections den won plus a total of 14,590 of de total votes cast dat year.

He contest again insyd de 2000 Ghanaian general elections den maintain ein seat as a member of parliament for Akropong constituency of de third parliament of de fourth republic of Ghana plus a total number of 8,659 votes representing 31.1% of de total votes cast over ein opponents Anthony Gyampo of de National Democratic Congress who sana polled 8,625 votes representing 31.0%, Albert Gyang Boohene who polled 5,113 votes wey represent 18.4% of de total votes cast, Nana Esi Howe Botsio polling 4,394 total votes cast wey represent 15.8%, Sakyi Boafo Akuffo Convention People's Party who polled 914 votes wey represent 03.3% of de total votes cast den Kofi Koranteng People's National Convention sana polling 136 votes wey represent 00.5% of de total votes cast. He do not contest insyd oda elections after ein term insyd office ended.

Larbi be a Christian den be married plus three children.[4]

Death

He die at de Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital insyd 2008 after a sudden illness.[5]
