Al-Nour Mosque be mosque wey dey locate insyd de mountainous city of Azrou, insyd Ifrane Province, within de Fès-Meknès Region. Ebe de largest religious building insyd de Middle Atlas. Na de late King Hassan II of Morocco build de mosque[1] insyd September 1987 wey na ebe inaugurated by King Mohammed VI of Morocco insyd 2000.[2]

Description

Al-Nour Mosque dey cover an area of 5,700 square meters wey e get a capacity of 5,000 worshippers. De mosque dey consist of two floors: de ground floor give men den de first floor give women. E sanso dey feature a water fountain, an ablution area, den an additional open prayer space give overflow congregations. Na de construction budget give dis mosque reach 1 billion dirhams, plus an additional 15 million dirhams dem allocate for ein furnishings.[2]

History

Na de construction of Al-Nour Mosque be initiated by King Hassan II insyd September 1987, buh na e face significant delays. Na dem no inaugurate am til December 2000 by King Mohammed VI, wey he later perform de Friday prayer der insyd September 2004.
