Andrew Arnolds be South African politician plus member of Economic Freedom Fighters wey represent Western Cape insyd de National Council of Provinces from 2019 till 2023.

Political career

Arnolds be member of de African Christian Democratic Party den serve as Deputy Mayor of Cape Town between 2006 plus 2007. He resign from ACDP insyd 2009.[1]

Arnolds join Agang South Africa before de 2014 general election. He dey on de party ein list for Western Cape Provincial Parliament. But de party no win any representation insyd de provincial parliament. Later, he join Economic Freedom Fighters den return to Cape Town city council as one of de first EFF municipal councillors after August 2016 municipal elections. Arnolds serve as EFF ein provincial secretary.[2]

Parliamentary career

After de general election on 8 May 2019, Arnolds be elected to de National Council of Provinces. He take office as an MP on 23 May 2019.

He resign from de NCOP on 7 March 2023.[3]

Committee assignments

On 24 June 2019, he be named to two committees. Dem be:

  • Select Committee on Land Reform, Environment, Mineral Resources and Energy[4]
  • Select Committee on Public Enterprises and Communication
