Anita Mugeni (wey dem born am for 1970) be Rwandan judge den de current president of de East African Court of Justice (EACJ). She be de person wey serve as acting president for de Rwanda Bar Association.[1][2]
Ein education den career
[edit | edit source]Mugeni get ein first law degree from de National University of Rwanda for 1996 insyd, den ein master’s degree for law from FUSL-UC Louvain for Belgium for 2005. She start ein legal career for 1998 as litigation den commercial attorney. She be one of de founding partners for MRB Attorneys. She serve as member of de Council of East African Law Society, den she be commissioner for de Public Service Commission den de National Consultative committee on EAC Political Federation.[1] For 2021, dem appoint am to de East African Court of Justice Appellate Division. For May 2023, she come turn de president of de court, wey she take over from Tanzanian judge, Sauda Mjasiri, afta she retire.[3][4]
