De most common cause be an abdominal aortic aneurysm wey rupture spontaneously. Aortic rupture be distinct from aortic dissection, wich be a tear thru de inner wall of de aorta wey fi block de flow of blood thru de aorta to de heart anaa abdominal organs.

An aortic rupture fi be classified according to ein cause into one of de following main types:

• Traumatic aortic rupture
• Aortic rupture secondary to an aortic aneurysm

Treatment

Treatments dey range according to de severity of de condition from monitoring to emergency surgical repair. Treatments dey include:

• Monitoring
• Medication
• Surgery
  • Endovascular aortic repair (EVAR/TEVAR)
  • Open-Surgical Repair
• Emergent treatment
  • Blood pressure control plus IV medications to drop blood pressure to de lowest safety level.
  • Emergency surgery: An emergency EVAR anaa open repair.
