As Ernest Kumi of de New Patriotic Party (NPP) die on 7 July 2025, de seat cam turn vacant.[3][4] De Electoral Commission of Ghana conduct by-election on 2 September 2025 wey Baidoo contest wey he win de seat give de NDC.[5][6][7]
