Charles de Graft-Dickson (wey dem born on 14 November 1913, die on 19 November 1997) be Ghana man wey be educationist plus politician. He serve as minister of State plus member of parliament insyd de first republic. Before he enter politics, he be chairman for Asante Kotoko S.C.

Charles de Graft-Dickson na Ghana man wey dem born am on 14 November 1913 to Charles Hebert Dickson for Konongo Odumase insyd Ashanti Region. Ein early school start for St. Peter's Primary School for Kumasi, den later go Prince of Wales College (wey now dem dey call Achimota School) where he get ein secondary education.[1]

Career den politics

Charles start to teach for St. Mary's School for Konongo from 1934 go 1937. After dat, he work six years for Konongo mines. Later on, he join C. F. A. O. den by 1944,[1] he be demma employee president. In 1949, he become chairman for Asante Kotoko S.C. plus serve insyd dat role till 1953.[2] He be one of two-man delegation wey dem send go Puerto Rico for de inaugural ceremony of President Luis Muñoz Marín. On 23 July 1956, dem appoint am ministerial secretary (wey be like deputy minister) to de Ministry of Education.[3][4] For 1957, he rise to become Regional Commissioner (Regional Minister) for Ashanti Region.[1] By 1960, dem appoint am Minister for Defence, position wey he serve inside until 1961.[5]
