David Bambatha Maphangumzana Sibeko (26 August 1938 insyd Johannesburg, South Africa – 12 June 1979 for Dar es Salaam, Tanzania)[1] be South African political activist. People dey call am "Malcolm X of South Africa". He start ein political journey as journalist for Drum, wey be black South African magazine. As he dey work for dat magazine, he turn big figure inside de Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (South Africa).[2] Insyd de 1970s, he lead de United Nations Observer Mission for de Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) wey dey New York City, den through dat role, he make PAC popular especially among African Americans. Insyd 1979, Sibeko try take over leadership from Potlako Leballo, den he get partial success. But he no fit get support from de Second Azanian People's Liberation Army, wey dem recruit from de 1976 student protest generation. As dem get argument for ein flat insyd Oyster Bay insyd Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on 12 June 1979, dem shoot am dead.
