Delphine Djiraibe (born 1 December 1960) be Chadian attorney den co-founder of de Chadian Association for the Promotion and Defense of Human Rights. For 2006, she sanso establish de Public Interest Law Center (PILC).[1] BBC News describe am as "one of Chad ein most prominent human rights lawyers."[2]

For 2004, dem award am de Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award for ein work.[3]

Wen she land for de country, she see say de people dey suffer heavy for starvation den poverty insyd. Dis thing wey she see move ein heart wey e motivate am make she become human rights activist. Secof dis, she come join hands establish de Chadian Association for the Promotion and Defense of Human Rights make she fit fight for de people.[5]

Delphine Djiraibe ein work mostly dey focus on de money wey dey commot from de Chad–Cameroon Petroleum Development and Pipeline Project, wey be World Bank dey fund am. Delphine argue say de money wey de pipeline dey generate suppose go support local development, instead of say dem go give am all to de Chadian military.[3] She talk say de pipeline project self make de villages for de region hungry more: "Their lands have been taken for the oil project. They get compensation but without preparation. The cash that they have received has been expended like that and now they find themselves with nothing."[6] Delphine sanna talk say de oil money follow make de civil war for 2005-2010 start, wey she call de oil revenue "curse."[6]
