Dennitah Ghati be Kenyan politician wey dem nominate as member for Kenya National Assembly, to represent people wey get disability. She be member of Orange Democratic Movement.[1]

Early life

Dem born Dennitah Ghati for 1980 insyd one rural village for Migori. She attend Kenya Institute of Mass Communication for Nairobi den Kenyatta University before she start work as journalist for The East African Standard Newspaper.[2]

Ghati get scholarship go Columbia University for USA, wer she collect Master’s degree wey she work for New York with American Jewish World Service. After dat, she work plus League of Kenyan Women Voters den later as program manager for UNICEF Somalia.[3]

Political career

For 2013 general election, Ghati win enter National Assembly as woman representative for Migori County plus 51% majority, wey dey represent Orange Democratic Movement.[4] After de election, Peoples' Democratic Party candidate Fatuma Zainabu Mohammed carry de matter go court, talk say intimidation, vote buying den bribery happen. Buh dem later dismiss de case, dem confirm say Ghati win de election.[5]
