Emmanuel Humphrey Tettey Korboe be Ghanaian politician wey serve during de first republic. He serve as regional commissioner for de Eastern Region,[1] den later for de Central Region. He san serve as member of parliament for de Yilo-Krobo constituency, den later de Somanya constituency.

[edit | edit source]Dem born Korboe insyd 1912. He begin ein early education for Accra Royal School den continue for O'Reilley Educational Institute.[2]
Career den politics
[edit | edit source]Korboe start ein work life as clerk for Abdala Transport Company for 1932. Later, he turn farmer plus cocoa broker.[2] He be chairman for Yilo Krobo Local Council, chairman for de Somanya branch of de Convention People's Party (CPP), den chairman for Volta River District CPP Constituency Council. Insyd 1954, dem elect am to represent de Yilo Krobo constituency insyd de National Assembly.[2][3] For 1957, dem appoint am as Regional Commissioner (Regional Minister) for de Eastern Region.[4] He hold dis position from 1957 to 1965. For 1965, he get appoint as Regional Commissioner for de Central Region.[5] He serve for dis position till February 1966 wey dem overthrow de Nkrumah government.
