Emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD; dem sanso know as behavioral and emotional disorders)[1][2] be a term dem use primarily insyd de United States wey dey refer to a disability classification dem use insyd educational settings wey dey allow educational institutions to provide special education den related services to students wey display poor social den/anaa academic progress.[3]
Dem often give de classification to students after conducting a Functional Behavior Analysis. Dese students dey hia individualized behavior supports such as a Behavior Intervention Plan, to receive a free den appropriate public education.[4] Students plus EBD fi be eligible for an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) den/anaa accommodations insyd de classroom thru a 504 Plan.[4]
