Insyd April 1958, na he attend de "Conference of Independent African States" wey be organized by de Ghanaian Presido Kwame Nkrumah. Na he befriend Frantz Fanon, wey represent de Algerian FLN. Accompanied by Osendé Afana, na he go to Congo insyd 1960 to meet plus Presido Patrice Lumumba, wey na he show sympathy for de UPC cause, buh wey na he then be overthrown by Colonel Mobutu ein troops, wey na he drive dem out of de country.
