Fear of intimacy generally be a social phobia den anxiety disorder wey dey result in difficulty forming close relationships plus anoda person. De term sanso fi refer to a scale on a psychometric test, anaa a type of adult in attachment theory psychology.
De fear of intimacy be de fear of being emotionally anaa physically close to anoda individual. Dem sanso dey define dis fear as "de inhibited capacity of an individual, secof anxiety, to exchange thought den feelings of personal significance plus anoda individual wey be highly valued".[1]
Fear of intimacy be de expression of existential views in dat to love den to be loved dey make life seem precious den death more inevitable.[2] E fi result from any number of dysfunctional bonding experiences wey dey range from early childhood parental attachments to relationship failures insyd adulthood.
