Description
English: The North-Eastern view of the Danish fort Prindsensteen at Keta (today Ghana). The foundation stone for the fort was laid on 22 June 1784 by Governor Jens Adolf Kjöge. The fort was in Danish possession until 1850, then until the independence of Ghana it was in British possession.
Deutsch: Die Grundsteinlegung für das Fort fand am 22. Juni 1784 durch Gouverneur Jens Adolf Kjöge statt. Das Fort war bis 1850 in dänischem, danach bis zur Unabhängigkeit Ghanas im britischen Besitz.
