Florence Rita Arrey (born 1948) be Cameroonian judge wey come turn de first female chief justice for de Court of Appeal.[1] She serve for de Supreme Court of Cameroon, wey she be vice president of de International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. For 2014, dem appoint am as director of judicial professions for de Cameroonian Ministry of Justice.

[edit | edit source]Arrey be de first woman wey dem appoint am as State Counsel for Cameroon for 1974.[4] Dem appoint am for de Court of Appeal for 1984, wey for 1990 she come turn de first woman wey be chief justice.[4] For 2000, dem appoint am for de Supreme Court of Cameroon.[4]
United Nations General Assembly elect Arrey as ad litem judge for de International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) for 2003. For 2012, dem elect am as vice president of de ICTR den judge for de Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals.[5]
For 2014, dem appoint Arrey as director of judicial professions for de Ministry of Justice Cameroon.[4] She be president den founder of de Cameroon Association of Women Judges, wey she be vice president of de International Association of Women Judges.[4]
For International Women's Day for 2011, dem name Arrey as one of Cameroon ein 50 most influential women.[5]
