Gérard Kango Ouédraogo (French pronunciation: [ʒeʁaʁ kɑ̃ɡo wedʁaɔɡo]; September 19, 1925 – July 1, 2014) be a Burkinabé statesman den diplomat who serve as Prime Minister of Upper Volta (now Burkina Faso) from 13 February 1971 to 8 February 1974.[1] Na he subsequently be President of de National Assembly of Upper Volta from October 1978 to November 25, 1980.

While seated as de President of de National Assembly during de coup d'état of Saye Zerbo on November 25, 1980, he be imprisoned several times under de dictatorships of Saye Zerbo, Thomas Sankara den Blaise Compaoré . Since de easing of de regime, headed by de head of state insyd de early 1990s, he be elected twice under de Fourth Republic, den resign on 27 May 1998. He die on 1 July 2014 insyd Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso at de age of 88.
