Gloria Akuffo (born 31 December 1954) be a Ghanaian lawyer plus politician wey serve as de Attorney General of Ghana den Minister for Justice from 2017 til 2021.[1][2][3] She sanso serve as Deputy Attorney General den Aviation Minister insyd de John Kuffuor administration.[4]

She be head of Litigation at Blay and Associates.[5] Dem appointed am Attorney General den Minister of Justice by President Nana Akufo Addo upon ein assumption of power insyd 2017.[6] As Attorney General, Akufo represent Ghana insyd a maritime boundary dispute plus Ivory Coast at International Tribunal for Law of de Sea(ITLOS). De case at de tribunal travel for years den successive governments. Akufo den predecessor, Mariata Brew Appiah Oppong successfully defend Ghana ein interest den insyd September 2017, de ITLOS rule in favour of Ghana, wey dem state say Ghana no violate de maritime boundaries insyd ein oil exploration efforts.[7] According to de court ruling, any new boundary for pass de West of Tweneboa, Enyenra, Ntomme oil and gas fields. From 2005 to 2006, Akuffo be Deputy Minister for de Greater Accra Region. Akuffo serve as de first Minister of Aviation from 2006 till July 2008. Dem appoint am Ambassador to Ireland insyd July 2008. She be de lead counsel insyd de dispute wey dey involve de 2013 election petition case before de Supreme Court insyd Ghana.[2]
