Biography
[edit | edit source]Chewane be member of de Students' Representative Council (SRC) for MEDUNSA for three straight terms den he serve as president for one term. He qualify as medical doctor den he work for both public den private sectors.[1]
Chewane join Economic Freedom Fighters insyd 2013. He attend de party ein Policy Conference plus de National Assembly on "What is to be Done". He get elect to de EFF Central Command Team (CCT), wey be de party ein highest decision-making structure between conferences, during de party ein first National Peoples Assembly for December 2014. For June 2015, he take ein oath as Member of de National Assembly of South Africa; he fill de casual vacancy wey come wen Khanyisile Litchfield-Tshabalala get expel from EFF.[2] Chewane get appoint make he serve for de Portfolio Committee on Health.[1]
Chewane resign from de National Assembly on 1 January 2017 den Sophie Thembekwayo get appoint make she take ein seat. He no win when he stand as EFF parliamentary candidate for de 2019 national den provincial elections.[3]
