Alhaji Imoru Egala (5 December 1916 – 1 April 1981[1]) be Ghanaian politician plus educationist. He hold plenti positions for government insyd both during de Gold Coast time and after Ghana get independence. He serve as de foreign minister of Ghana for de First Republic between 1960 den 1961.[2]

Inside Dr. Kwame Nkrumah ein Convention People's Party government, he hold plenti cabinet positions like Minister for Foreign Affairs den Minister for Information. He too hold Minister of Health plus Minister of Industries role for some point insyd de same Nkrumah ein government.

Plus de minister roles wey he serve for different periods insyd Kwame Nkrumah ein administration, he too serve as Member of Parliament for de Tumu Constituency.[3][4][5]

After de coup d'état wey Colonel E. Kotoka den Major Afrifa do for 1966, dem jail Egala, wey be one of Kwame Nkrumah ein close associates and key member for Nkrumah ein regime, by de military government.[6]

People's National Party

Egala too be one of de people wey form de People's National Party, political party wey talk say dem dey represent den continue Nkrumah ein heritage. Na dis same People's National Party win de 1979 presidential plus parliamentary elections. He be de one wey support Dr. Hilla Limann ein candidature, wey make Limann turn president for de Third Republic of Ghana, because by dat time Egala dey under 12-year ban from holding public office for Ghana.[7][8]

Insyd January 1980, Egala start court case against de electoral commissioner make court fit restore ein eligibility to hold public office.[9]

Alhaji Imoru Egala get four wives; Hajia Amina Egala, Hajia Memuna Egala, Hajia Adisa Egala plus Susie Egala. Ein kiddies dem be twelve; three be boys (Idris Egala, Dramani Egala plus Osman Egala) den nine be girls (Zainabu Egala, Fati Egala, Rahinatu Egala, Ramatu Egala, Abiba Egala, Meri Egala, Zalia Egala, Fatima Egala plus Rabi Egala).

Imoru be de maternal grandfather of Farouk Aliu Mahama.[10]
