Abdul Razak Issahaku (born 12 September 1985), wey dey perform as Iwan, be a reggae den dance hall artiste wey komot Ghana, West Africa. Na he be a product of University of Ghana, Legon, Iwan, dem sanso know as "Lyrical Gunshot", pursue Theatre Art den Music den Dance wey now he dey hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts.[1]
Na he initially sign to Bullhaus Entertainment, de force behind de hiplife duo 5five, wey na he do rhythms from ein debut album dem title Iwan - My Time insyd 2010.
Early life den education
[edit | edit source]Iwan dey hail from de northern part of Ghana, wey he belong to de Dagomba tribe. Na dem born am insyd Accra to Mr. Issahaku Atta den Mrs. Ajara Mamudu, he be de last among three boys den four girls. Iwan plete St. John's Junior Sec. School insyd 2001 wey na he proceed to de Accra High School wer na he cam be de entertainment prefect insyd ein third year.
Musical career
[edit | edit source]Lyrical Gunshot start ein career by copyrighting oda people dema songs song. He perform chaw educative programmes like Funfair, Variety Shows den inter school events. After na he perform dese roles, Iwan wey na then dem call am Popa Razy, start dey develop ein music career at ein teen. He record chaw ground songs wich na dem give am de title Rhyme Dealer. Insyd 2016 na Iwan dey on ein peace tour.[2]
Rising To Popularity
[edit | edit source]While na he dey work as sound engineer, Iwan record six songs wich dey include "Party". Later, he part ways plus ein management team.[3] Na he release a hit single "Who's Bad".[4][5]
