Joseph Mainoo (dem sanso know am as Joe Mainoo) be a Ghanaian politician den trader.[1]

Early life

Na Mainoo hail from Mbrom District insyd de Ashanti Region of Ghana.[1]

Insyd August 1954, he be storekeeper for Cocoa Purchasing Company (CPC).[2] Mainoo be Director of Adom-Nsiah Construction Limited.[3] He sanso serve as Assistant Manager for CPC.[4] For 1974, he be Managing Director of Amalgamated Farmers Marketing Company.[5][6] He serve as Chairman of Tema Development Corporation,[7][8][9] plus Chairman of Tema Local Council.[10][11] He sanso be Manager of Gold Coast Machinery Stores. For 1954, he be Assistant Regional Manager for Ashanti Region, den later for 1955, he become Regional Manager.[12]

Politics

Na Mainoo be a member of de Convention Peoples Party (CPP).[13][14][15] Insyd 1958, he contest for de CPP as a Member of Parliament wey he loose insyd Ashanti New Town.[16]

Mainoo be son-in-law of Mrs. Hagar Nicholls, wey be de first trained nurse-midwife for Ashanti Region of Ghana.[17]
