Koundara be town insyd northwestern Guinea, near de borders of Guinea-Bissau plus Senegal. Ebe de capital of Koundara Prefecture. De town be served by Sambailo Airport. As of 2014, de population be 27,433 people.[1]

Climate

Koundara be a tropical savanna climate (Köppen climate classification Aw), de temperature dey hot year round, plus de wet den dry season. On 29 March 2017, Koundara record a temperature of 45.0 °C (113.0 °F), which be de highest temperature dem ever record in Guinea.[2]
