Na de Ga people for Greater Accra Region first start to play Kpanlogo. Most of dem dey live for Accra den de areas around. But now, people from all over Ghana dey perform den enjoy am. Kpanlogo start for early 1960s as one new dance style, wey American rock den roll influence. E give de young Ga people chance to show say dem be different from dema elders. Ghanaian master drummer C. K. Ladzekpo talk say Kpanlogo be mainly "urban youth dance-drumming" wey e dey represent how Ghanaian youth for fast-growing urban areas dey push dema own ideas to help shape de political future of post-colonial Africa (1995: web).[2]
