Leonardo Lala (dem born am 1906 – he die March 4, 2000) na he be writer of Arbëreshë/Albanian origin from Contessa Entellina insyd Italy den expert for Arbëresh language insyd, den Arbëreshë history den folk traditions.[1] Insyd 1910, he immigrate go U.S. (New Orleans), wey he dey der for about three years. As he return insyd 1913, he attend elementary school den plete fourth grade wey start dey devote ein body say he go do farm work, as chao menners do for Contessa Entellina.[1]
As na Lala ein education be limited give only elementary school, na he still be interested for Arbëresh den Albanian culture insyd. Na he be committed researcher wey teach ein body as much as possible about de language, history den traditions, wey he rep chao pieces insyd Italian den Albanian wey be based for ein researches, both insyd prose den verse.[2] Na report dey say na dem regularly dey use insyd cultural den current affairs of de Italian-Albanian communities. Lala oversee de writing of sam glossary of about 4,000 Arbëreshë words wey dem use insyd Contessa Entellina.[1]
Lala retire from farming for age of 80, wey he focus for ein researches for Arbëreshe culture insyd. He die for age of 94, insyd Contessa Entellina insyd March 4, 2000.[1]
