Archibald Lesao Lehohla (wey dem born am 28 July 1946)[1] be de Deputy Prime Minister plus Minister for Home Affairs den Public Safety for Lesotho.

Dem born Lehohla insyd 28 July 1946 insyd Mafeteng. For 1970, Lehohla get ein Bachelor of Science from de University of Botswana, Lesotho den Swaziland (UBLS). For 1975, UNESCO give am scholarship make e go study mathematics for Oxford University. While e dey Oxford, Lehohla graduate plus Bachelor den Master of Arts.[1]

Career

While e dey UBLS, Lehohla be teaching assistant from 1970 go 1972. For 1975, Lehohla start to teach for Bereng High School den dem promote am to headmaster for 1977. Lehohla stay headmaster till 1993.[2]

Politics

Lehohla first win ein seat for parliament from de Mafeteng Constituency for 1993 den e become Minister for Home Affairs under de new Basutoland Congress Party government. After dat, e become Minister for Transport, Posts den Telecommunications for 1995. For May 1996 e become Minister for Education.[3] He win one court case wey give am chance to stand again for Mafeteng Constituency for de 1998 election afta ein party, de Lesotho Congress for Democracy (LCD), nominate anoda candidate,[4] den e win again.

Deputy Prime Minister

Insyd 27 January 2002, Lehohla win as leader for de Lesotho Congress for Democracy party.[5] Dis party leadership position make am become Deputy Prime Minister after de 2002 Parliamentary Elections.[6] Later, dem comot am from ein position as Minister for Education den put am as Minister for Home Affairs den Public Safety for November 2004.[7]
