Lydia Seyram Alhassan (dem born am 31 January 1970) be Ghanaian politician den member of de Seventh Parliament of de Fourth Republic of Ghana. She represent de Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency for de Greater Accra Region insyd for de ticket of de New Patriotic Party.[1][2]

She contest for de ticket of de New Patriotic Party (NPP) top, den succeed ein late husband Emmanuel Boakye Agyarko.[4] She win de election plus 68.80 per cent of de valid votes cast.[5][6] De oda candidates, Kwasi Delali Brempong of de opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) poll 30.52 per cent, William Kofi Dowokpor of de Progressive People's Party (PPP) poll 0.58 per cent, den Clement Boadi of de Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) poll 0.10 per cent.[7][8][9][10][11]
She successfully contest for de 2020 Ghanaian general election under de ticket of New Patriotic Party den win against Ghanaian celebrity den NDC candidate John Dumelo, wey e poll 9,851 of de valid votes cast.[12][13][14][15] De most recent honors dat Hon. Lydia Alhassan receive give ein services to de country ein development be de Ghana Parma Awards' Woman of Excellence Award from 2017 den Personality of the Year Award from 2021.[16]
For de 2024 Ghanaian general elections insyd, John Dumelo defeat Alhassan plus Dumelo wey e poll 47,560 votes plus am wey e secure 39,214 votes.[17]
