Maame Biamah Akwafo (wey some people dey call Linda Biamah Akwafo) be Ghanaian media professional den broadcasting executive wey dey serve as President of de Network of Women in Broadcasting (NOWIB), wey be professional association wey dedicate to help women role for Ghana media industry move forward.[1]
Career
[edit | edit source]For January 2025, de Network of Women in Broadcasting (NOWIB) announce dema Executive Council, wey go serve for three-year term from 2025 reach 2028.[2][3] Dem elect Maame Biamah Akwafo make she be de founding President of dis organization, wey get about eighty (80) professionals from different platforms all over Ghana.[4]
After dem elect am, Biamah explain de council mission well, she talk say: "We dey excited to set up wona Executive Council, wey go help us reach wona goal of creating one supportive system give women wey dey broadcasting.[5] NOWIB dey operate under de patronage of veteran broadcasters like Nana Yaa Konadu den Nana Yaa Brefo, wey dey bring togeda experienced media professionals wey dey committed to support den empower women for de industry.[6][7]
