Meleane Lolohea Pau'uvale ONZM (dem born am 1948 anaa 1949) be Tongan educator, language activist, den community leader insyd New Zealand.

Dem born Meleane Pau'uvale insyd Ha'akio Tukulalo Olo'ua wey dey Tongan district of Vava'u around 1949.[1][2] She marry Siosifa Pau'uvale, sam fellow educator, wey dem get four kiddies.[1][3] For three decades, she teach insyd high schools wey de Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga dey run.[1]

Insyd de 1990s, she move go New Zealand, wey she realise say na need dey say she go focus for education for Tongan language den culture wey dey de Tongan community insyd.[1] Dem cam know am for ein work for early childhood education den language advocacy top.[1][4]

Insyd 1999, Pau'uvale found de Akoteu Kato Kakala Early Childhood Education Centre for ein garage insyd for Māngere, outsyd Auckland, New Zealand. She eventually secure official recognition den funding give de centre, wey now dey insyd Ōtara. She still dey lead de school den serve as ein head teacher.[5][6]

Pau'uvale sana be leader insyd efforts say she go support de Tongan community across New Zealand, wey dey include say she go establishing de Alaha Manongi educational service, organise Tongan Language Week, den design de Kato Kakala health framework for Tongan families. She help publish three Tongan-language books of poetry den short stores, wey de centre sana produce digital tools give Tongan cultural education.[1][5]
