Noluvuyo Tafeni, wey dem dey call Luvuyo Tafeni, be South African politician wey dey serve as Permanent Delegate go de National Council of Provinces since June 2023, represent Eastern Cape. As member for de Economic Freedom Fighters party, she serve as Member for de National Assembly from October 2019 reach June 2023.
Parliamentary career
[edit | edit source]Tafeni be member for de Economic Freedom Fighters. Dem swear am in as Member for de National Assembly[1] on 25 October 2019, wey she take replace Mmabatho Mokause wey resign.[2]
On 6 May 2020, she come turn Alternate Member for de Portfolio Committee on Justice and Correctional Services. She serve for dat committee till 4 September 2020. On 31 August 2022, she become member for de newly reestablished Portfolio Committee on Human Settlements. She still get appointment as alternate member for de Portfolio Committee on Water and Sanitation on 14 April 2022. On 28 February 2023, dem discharge her from de Water and Sanitation committee, den she become alternate member for de Human Settlements committee.[3]
Tafeni resign from de National Assembly on 5 June 2023. On 13 June 2023, dem swear am in as Permanent Delegate go de National Council of Provinces from Eastern Cape.
