Palmira Leitão de Almeida Barbosa, dem nickname Mirita, born 25 November 1961, be an Angolan handball player. She begin ein career for Clube Ferroviário de Luanda insyd de 1980s den insyd 1996 she move to Petro Atlético. She join de Angolan handball squad insyd 1980, wey dey make ein international debut at de world cup insyd South Korea instd 1990. Since then, she play three more world cups. Insyd February 2000, at de age of 39, she announce ein retirement den ein desire to pursue a coaching career. She later cam play for two more seasons plus de newly formed club ENANA.
Politics
