Patricia Appiagyei (dem born am 28 November 1956) be Ghanaian politician, one-time Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister den de first female mayor of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly.[1][2][3][4][5][6] She be de Member of Parliament (MP) for de Seventh Parliament of de Fourth Republic of Ghana insyd den de 8th Parliament of de Fourth Republic of Ghana, wey dey represent Asokwa Constituency. From 2005 to 2009 she serve as de Municipal Chief Executive give Kumasi. She currently be de Member of Parliament (MP) give Asokwa Constituency after beating former deputy Local Government minister, Maxwell Kofi Jumah, to win de New Patriotic Party (NPP) primary election den subsequently win de parliamentary seat during de 2016 Ghanaian general elections.[11][9][12] She wIn de 2020 general election to represent ein constituents for de 8th Parliament of de Fourth Republic of Ghana insyd. Hon Patricia Appiagyei be currently de most experienced female NPP member of Parliament.[13]
For 2017 insyd, Nana Akufo-Addo appoint am den parliament approve am to serve as de deputy minister for Environment, Science and Technology and Innovation.[14][15] She be board member give de Nuclear Power Ghana.[16][17]
For February 2024 insyd, she assume de role of deputy majority leader for parliament insyd after dem promote Alexander Afenyo-Markin deputy majority leader to de position of majority leader due to Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu resignation from de role.[18]
