Paulnita Marais (wey dem born 27 September) be South African politician wey dey serve as Member for National Assembly since January 2022, under de Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). Before dis role, she be councillor for Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality.

Biography

Marais wey dem born insyd Cape Town on 27 September, go study for University of Cape Town. Before she enter politics, she be manager for VeriCred Credit Bureau Pty Ltd.[1]

Insyd 2016, Marais take elect as EFF councillor for Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality. During ein time as councillor, she serve as de leader for EFF ein municipal caucus. For January 2020, Marais talk say de Members of de Mayoral Committee (MMCs) for de municipality must take responsibility for de problems wey dey happen.[2] Then for August 2021, she accuse ANC ein mayoral candidate, Mxolisi Siyonzana, say e be part of de divisions wey dey insyd ANC caucus.[3]

On 26 January 2022, Marais take swear in as Member of de National Assembly of South Africa.[4]

Marais be married to Tony Marais, a former Senator for de African National Congress who join de EFF insyd 2013. He die insyd January 2019 insyd Heidedal, Bloemfontein, where he dey live plus Paulnita den demma six kiddies.[5][6]
