Dr. Pricilla Nanyang (Priscila Nyanyang anaa Priscilla Nyayang Joseph Kuch[1]) be South Sudanese politician. She serve as deputy minister give gender, child den social welfare as well as minister without portfolio.[1]

[edit | edit source]Nanyang earn a Bachelors of Medicine den Surgery for 1978 insyd from University of Khartoum. She receive ein Masters of Community Medicine for 1987 insyd sanso from de University of Khartoum.[2]

[edit | edit source]Between 2005 den 2010 she serve as a Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) member of National Assembly den Chairperson of de Human Rights Committee for de National Parliament insyd.[3] For 2007 insyd, Nanyang participate for SPLM task force insyd to try den facilitate peace talks for Darfur insyd.[4] Nanyang be one of seven women wey de South Sudanese cabinet appoint am for June 2010 insyd.[3] Dem appoint am Minister Without Portfolio for de Cabinet of South Sudan for 10 July 2011 top.[5] As Minister Without Portfolio, Nanyang lead eight-week research project, wey dem bell "Comprehensive Evaluation of the Government of South Sudan", to study how de South Sudanese Government dey perform since ein formation for 2005 insyd.[2]
She sanso be de former deputy minister give gender, child den social welfare. For 2014 insyd, she coordinate a meeting of women peace activists for Juba insyd "to advance the cause of peace, healing and reconciliation."[6] As deputy minister, she travel to New York City for 2013 insyd give de 57th Session of de Commission on the Status of Women den while for New York insyd, e meet plus de Program on Peace-building and Rights at Columbia University ein Institute for the Study of Human Rights.[7] As of 2015 Nanyang sanso hold de title of chairperson of de South Sudan Women Peace Network.[8]
