Puff-puff be a traditional snack dem make of fried dough wey dem dey chop am across Africa, especially insyd de west of de continent. De name "puff-puff" be from Nigeria; as dem list below, chaw oda names den varieties of de pastry dey exist.

Puff-puffs generally be made of dough wey dey contain flour, yeast, sugar, butter, salt, water den eggs (wich be optional), den deep-fried insyd vegetable oil to a golden-brown color. Baking powder fi be used as a replacement for yeast, buh yeast be a better option.[1] After frying, puff-puffs fi be rolled insyd sugar. Like de French beignet den de Italian zeppole, puff-puffs fi be rolled insyd any spice anaa flavoring such as cinnamon, vanilla den nutmeg.
