Sfiso Norbert Buthelezi ( born 1961) be South African politician plus member for National Assembly of South Africa.[1][2] He dey part of de ruling party for de country, African National Congress.[3]

Insyd 1981, when he be 20 years, Buthelezi join uMkhonto we Sizwe, wey be former paramilitary wing of African National Congress.[5] Dem arrest am insyd 1983 plus dem jail am for Robben Island prison for eight years till he get release insyd 1991.[6]
Career
[edit | edit source]From 1994 go 1999, Buthelezi work as economic adviser to Jacob Zuma, wey dat time be member of Executive Council for economic development insyd KwaZulu-Natal. He sana advise Mathews Phosa during de time wey Phosa be premier insyd Mpumalanga.[7]
Insyd 1999, he become de Chief Operating Officer insyd Makana Investment Corporation. Dat same year, then president Thabo Mbeki appoint am as de founding chairperson insyd National Gambling Board.[8]
Insyd 2005, Minister of Transport Jeff Radebe appoint Buthelezi go de board insyd South African Rail Commuter Corporation (SARCC), wey dem later rename to Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA), plus Buthelezi serve as de first chairperson insyd PRASA from 2009 go 2014.[9]
Buthelezi get appointment as Deputy Minister of Finance insyd April 2017, afta cabinet reshuffle by President Jacob Zuma, wey remove Pravin Gordhan from de Minister of Finance position den Mcebisi Jonas from Deputy Minister of Finance.[10]
Wey Zuma resign as President insyd 14 February 2018, ein successor Cyril Ramaphosa reshuffle ein cabinet, move Buthelezi go de position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry den Fisheries.[11]
