Simanga Happy Mbuyane be a South African politician who serve as a member of de National Assembly of South Africa from 2017 until 2024, representing de African National Congress.

Parliamentary career

Mbuyane stand unsuccessful for Parliament insyd 2014 as de 139th candidate on de ANC ein national list.[1][2] On 4 May 2017, Mbuyane swear insyd as a member of de National Assembly. He replace former minister Ngoako Ramatlhodi who resign as a Member of Parliament after he ax insyd an unexpected cabinet reshuffle insyd March 2017.[3][4]

Mbuyane stand as an ANC parliamentary candidate insyd Mpumalanga insyd de 2019 national election den elect back to Parliament at de election.[5][6] He be a member of de Portfolio Committee on Trade den Industry.[7]

Insyd October 2020, Mbuyane try without success to exclude de public from attend a virtual committee meeting of de Portfolio Committee on Trade den Industry to discuss de appointment process of a new National Lotteries Commission (NLC) chairperson. Mbuyane say dat de committee agree to hold de meeting insyd private but e be then point out to him dat portfolio committee meetings be public by default.[8]

Mbuyane no stand for reelection insyd 2024.[9]
