For October 2024, Sunon Asogli Power Ghana Ltd suspend demma 560MW plant from October 8, say ECG no pay money wey dem owe.[3] By September 2024 end, ECG owe about US$259m (fuel no count), debt go up 23% since January, but dem only pay like 22.6% through Cash Waterfall Mechanism.
