Tidiane Aw (born 1935 – 30 May 2009) be a Senegalese film actor, screenwriter, director den producer. He participate insyd a range of films, both fiction den documentary as well as short den full feature.
Biography
[edit | edit source]Na dem born am insyd Kébémer insyd Louga Region, Senegal, Aw study for de Institute of Cinematography insyd Hamburg, Germany, he plete ein cinematic training insyd Paris for de Office for Radio Cooperation (OCORA). Among de precursors of Senegalese television, insyd de time of Mamadou Dia, wey na be presido of de Senegalese Government Council from 1957 to 1962, Aw work give primarily for educational television of de state owned channels til 1972.[1]
Na Aw ein first production be a 35-minute educational documentary dem title, wich dey explore de customs of de Lebou people wey na dem release am insyd 1968. Aw serve as director, screenwriter, producer, den actor give de film Le Bracelet de bronze (the bronze bracelet). Na e sanso be ein first colored film.[2]
