Kassim be politician for Kwale County. She be one out of six women politicians wey dem elect on 9 August 2022, wey she already dey serve as leaders for dema county. De oda five be, Beatrice Elachi wey cam from Nairobi County, 24‑year‑old Cynthia Muge wey cam from Kilibwoni County, Fatuma Masito wey cam from Kwale County, Susan Ngugi Mwindo wey cam from Tharacki Nithi, den Linda Sopiarto wey cam from Kajiarto government.[3]
For 2023, dem name Kassim as one of de better women representatives for Kenya. But women representatives no score well for de survey, secof people wey answer seem to prefer governors. Kassim still enter top 25 for de list wey Cecilia Asinyen from Turkana County den Jane Njeri from Kirinyaga County dey lead.[4]
