Uthman ibn Affan (Arabic: عُثْمَان بْن عَفَّان, romanized: ʿUthmān ibn ʿAffān) (c.573 anaa 576  17 June 656) na he be de third caliph of de Rashidun Caliphate, ruling from 644 til ein assassination insyd 656. Assassination

On 17 June 656, after finding de gates of Uthman ein house guarded, a group of rebels scale de walls from a neighboring house wey dem enter ein room. Among dem be Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr, de son of de first caliph, wey reportedly seize Uthman by ein beard. According to chaw accounts, after Uthman remind am of ein poppie ein friendship, Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr feel remorse wey he withdraw from de scene; however, oda rebels then move insyd wey dem fatally stab de Caliph while he dey recite de Quran.[3][4]
