Ntombovuyo Veronica Mente be South African politician wey serve as de National Chairperson for de Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) from December 2019 go December 2024. She dey sana be Member of de National Assembly of South Africa, wey she enter office insyd May 2014.

Biography

Mente from Khayelitsha township insyd Cape Town. She start ein career as security worker for de former mayor of Cape Town. For Khayelitsha, she be “barefoot lawyer” wey dey help workers. Mente volunteer too for de Labour Community Advice Media and Education Centre (LAMEC) insyd Khayelitsha.[1]

She join de Economic Freedom Fighters shortly after dem form am. Dem elect am go Parliament insyd 2014.[1]

Insyd May 2019, she get re-election for ein second term as MP. As at June 2019, she be member for de Standing Committee on Public Accounts plus Alternate Member for de Standing Committee on de Auditor General. For September 2019, she join de Disciplinary Committee.[1]

Mente become EFF national chairperson for de party ein second elective conference for December 2019, she take over from advocate Dali Mpofu.[2] For de third elective conference wey happen for December 2024, Nontando Nolutshungu take over from am.[3]
