Victoria Nyarko be Ghanaian civil servant den politician. She serve as member of de Parliament of Ghana from 1960 go reach 1966. She be de Third Member for de Northern Region from 1960 till 1966.

Early life den education

Dem born Nyarko on 24 May 1934 for Nsawam. She start ein early school for Nsawam Methodist School den Accra Methodist School, den later go Wesley Girls' High School, Cape Coast for 1949. After she finish for 1952, she enter St. Augustine's College, Cape Coast, for 1953 make she do ein sixth form courses.[1] She pass de Cambridge Higher Certificate exams plus exemption for de Arts subjects for 1954.[2] She enter University of de Gold Coast (wey now be University of Ghana) for October 1955 go study geography, plus Economics as ein subsidiary subject.[2] She graduate plus Bachelor of Arts degree for June 1958.[2]

Career den politics

Nyarko start work as education officer for Ghana Secondary Technical School for September 1958.[3] For October 1959, dem appoint am assistant secretary for de Ministry of Foreign Affairs, den for June 1960, she enter parliament. On 27 June 1960, she be one of de 10 women wey dem elect dem unopposed on top de ticket of Convention People's Party.[3][4][5] She enter parliament at de age of 26 as de Third Member for Northern Region.[3][4][6] She stay for parliament till 1965.
