William Kwabena Aduhene na he be Ghanaian teacher plus politician. He be de member of parliament for de Sefwi Wiawso electoral district from 1956 go 1965.[1] For 1965, he turn de member of parliament wey represent de Wassaw-Akropong constituency.[2] As he dey insyd parliament, he hold plenti appointments; he be Ministerial Secretary to de Minister of State for Presidential Matters for Parliament, later dem appoint am as Deputy Minister for Defence, den he serve some time as chairman for de State Diamond Mining Corporation. Before he enter politics, Aduhene be teacher for Sefwi Wiawso.[3][4]
Early life den education
[edit | edit source]Aduhene born on 8 August 1927 for Aboduam insyd de Sefwi-Wiawso District, one district for de Western Region of de den Gold Coast. He take ein early education for de Sefwi-Wiawso Government School from 1937 go 1944 wey he obtain ein Standard Seven School Leaving Certificate. He enter St. Augustine's College for 1946 make he train as teacher. He receive ein teachers' certificate "A" den qualify as teacher for 1949.[5]
Career den politics
[edit | edit source]Aduhene start work as teacher for de Sefwi-Wiawso Local Council School for Dabunso insyd 1950. He lef teaching for 1956 make he enter politics. For 1956 he contest de Sefwi Wiawso seat under Convention People's Party ein ticket den he win. He remain for dis post till 1965 wey he become de member of parliament for de Wassaw-Akropong constituency. He stay for parliament till 1966 wey dem overthrow de Nkrumah government. As he dey parliament, he hold plenti appointments. He serve as Ministerial Secretary to de Minister of State for Presidential Matters for Parliament, den later dem appoint am Deputy Minister for Defence. Before de 1966 coup d'état, he be de chairman of de State Diamond Mining Corporation.[6][7][8]

[edit | edit source]Aduhene marry for 1951 but de marriage dissolve for 1952. Inside de marriage, he get one pikin. For 1959, he marry Miss Jane Ghartey.[5]
