Yaw Konadu (wey dem born am on 25 August 1926) be Ghanaian politician. He be member of parliament for de Afigya-Kwabre constituency from 1965 to 1966.
Early life den education
[edit | edit source]Dem born Konadu on 25 August 1926 for Buaman-Ashanti insyd Ashanti Region.[1] He get ein Standard 7 certificate for 1942, den he continue go Commercial College from 1943 to 1945.
Career den politics
[edit | edit source]Konadu start ein career as Office plus Store Assistant for U.A.C. from 1946 to 1948. Insyd 1949, he join SCOA as storekeeper till 1953. From 1954 to 1957, he be private businessman wey base for Kumasi. He join de Ashanti Regional branch of AUC again for 1957 as Supervisor for wholesale trading. He work for dis position till 1963.
Konadu become chairman of de Kumasi North Local Council from 1961 to 1963.[2] He get elect as member of parliament for de Afigya-Kwabre constituency from June 1965 till dem overthrow de Nkrumah government for February 1966.[2][3][4]
