De Academy of Arts (Arabic: أكاديمية الفنون; Akādīmīya al-Finūn) be large educational complex insyd Cairo, Egypt, wey dey comprise seven institutes as of 2024. Na dem establish de Academy by de Egyptian Ministry of Culture for 1969 insyd.

For 1935[1] anaa 1944 insyd, de first of several arts-related institutes create by de Egyptian government, de Institute of Performing Arts, na dem establish insyd Cairo.[2] Odas follow, wey dey include de Higher Institute of Cinema for 1959 insyd. Na dem all affiliate to de Ministry of Culture, dem establish insyd Cairo, Egypt.[3]

Insyd 1969, dem create de Academy of Arts by de government decree, wey de separate institutes cam turn part of de academy.[1][3]

Insyd 1981, de academy undergo reorganisation,[3] wey for 1989 insyd dem issue further regulations give de governance of de Academy.[1]

Insyd 2019, na dem decide say dem go establish branch of de Academy of Arts insyd Alexandria. Dis fresh academy go incorporate all of de educational facilities insyd Princess Faiqa Ahmed Fouad Palace.[4]

Insyd March 2024, na dem announce say dey dey wedge decision wey dey regard de establishment of anoda campus of de Academy of Arts, wey dey include de Higher Institute of Cinema, de Conservatory, de Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts, den de Higher Institute of Ballet, insyd El-Shorouk, northeast of Cairo.[4]

  • Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts (المعهد العالي للفنون المسرحية), dem establish insyd 1944
  • Cairo Conservatoire ("المعهد العالي للموسيقى "الكونســرفاتوار), dem establish insyd 1959
  • Higher Institute of Cinema (المعهد العالي للسينما), dem establish insyd 1959
  • Higher Institute of Ballet (المعهد العالي للباليه), dem establish insyd 1959
  • Higher Institute of Artistic Criticism (المعهد العالي للنقد الفني)
  • Higher Institute of Arabic Music (المعهد العالي للموسيقى العربية), dem establish insyd 1929; dey comprise two performing groups: de Umm Kulthum Band for Arab Music den de Religious Recitation Band
  • High Institute of Folk Arts (المعهد العالي للفنون الشعبية), dem establish insyd 1981
